Art & yoga creative
The forthcoming art workshop is an invitation to people from all walks of life to come together in a relaxed environment to develop and fine tune existing, or as yet undiscovered, artistic talent.
This is a unique opportunity to study art under the direction and guidance of the Max Boehme. The Art The week begins with a choice of ‘still life’ or ‘life’ (with model) drawing sessions progressing on to painting. Students have the freedom to nurture their own ideas and experiment with the different media whilst being guided and tutored by Max.
Max will tutor each student to utilize their ideas and skills into a final piece of work that will reflect an experience of hardwork, fun and creativity. The Yoga A great way to start the day and awaken your creative energy, becoming more focused and more in tune with your higher self...... as all great artists are!
You will be joining few drop-in yoga classes at Ashiyana Yoga Center during the week with an emphasis on creatve flow and focus...not to be missed...... but if yoga is not your thing you could just focus all your energy on the art. You can work on your art anytime throughout the day..... coming and going as you please. Max will also be working along side the students on one of his own pieces of work and will devote his time to the students within the tutor times above. Accommodation Please contact Ashiyana for details of the various accommodation options and prices or there are plenty of varied accommodation options in the area near the venues to suit all budgets.
We do not make reservations for accommodation outside the venue. If you would like to be non-residential please arrive in the area a few days before the training and we can assist you in finding somewhere suitable. Art Materials Paper and drawing materials are provided. At the beginning of the week there is a trip to Goa's capital Panjim. Max will give guidence on the available art materials so students who wish to can purchase paints etc at a fraction of the normal western cost Travel Information All Foreign Nationals traveling to India Require a Tourist Visa. Please contact the Indian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission in your country to obtain a 6 month tourist visa prior to your departure to India. Vaccinations Please check with your local travel clinic and ask their advice so you can make your own informed choice as to whether you want to take any vaccines or medicines. Getting here From the Goa Airport (Dabolim) there are government taxis that can be booked on arrival or we are happy to organise a local taxi to come and collect you. The journey from the Dabolim Airport to both venues takes approx 75 mins and costs about 20 Euros If arriving in Goa by train (Pernem or Thivim station) or bus (Mapusa town station) we advise you to book a local taxi to collect you at the bus or train station.
