Yoga Holidays
A yoga holiday allows you to be totally flexible with your time and yet attend any of the classes at the 'drop-in' centre (separate yoga shala used for yoga holiday and drop-in guests) as well as the other activities..... meditation, chanting, karma yoga, 'barefoot boogie' (as it sounds..... letting yourself go in dance), walks, and impromptu gatherings and workshops. Teachers are invited to teach at the 'drop-in' centre on the basis of their way of teaching and their openness rather than their specific style of yoga. There are normally at least four teachers in residence at any one time but do check the drop-in yoga page for more information. We also invite you to hang out in the peace and quiet of Ashiyana or bask in the sunshine on the endless stretch of beaches. Our various massage and holistic treatments offer a further invitation to relax and experience your inner stillness. During your stay we hope to satisfy your food requirements with our delicious cuisine in the Ashiyana restaurant. Here we are able to use produce that is from the local markets or grown near our land...fresh, healthy and delicious! Wherever possible we buy organic. If you are interested in exploring North Goa - as well as the incredible beaches there are many beautiful sites and places to enjoy such as the Dudsagar waterfall, spice farms, national parks, Bondla zoo, the beautiful old parts of Panjim (Goa's capital) and Old Goa, an abundance of Portuguese churches and architecture, and the famous markets. Apart from our own Ashiyana activities, there are a variety of other activities and courses within the local area such as live music, dance, and kite surfing!
