Iyengar Intensive Retreat with Usha Devi

A great opportunity to deepen your practice through Iyengar Yoga from one of the most senior and respected teachers working in the Iyengar method today! Not only during the classes but also throughout the day we have the opportunity to spend some relaxing time with Usha. This year we will be taking the Retreat to another level, an ideal opportunity for intermediate yoga practitioners and teachers.

Daily Schedule

No activities are compulsory, we provide the option for you to go at your own pace and feel what is right for you at the time. Whether you are looking for an intensive week of study or a relaxing break with activating and inspiring activities, you are in charge of your time with us!

7:30am Morning Activity - Pranayama, meditation, guided silent walk, active meditation. Body work (twice in a week).
8am Workshop -  Yoga
10am Breakfast/Brunch
Free time –  Explore the beach, swing in a hammock, take a dip in the pool, read a book, go for a swim in the Arabian Sea, enjoy a massage or visit the neighboring villages and take in some of the exquisite Indian culture.
4:30pm Workshop on Iyengar yoga.
7pm Dinner
8:30pm Evening Activity - meditation, active meditation, chanting, documentary, group discussions, Surprise acts ;)


Two 2 hours Yoga classes per day with Usha Mata Ji; 2hrs in the morning and 1.5hrs in the evening.
Seven nights accommodation
Two buffet meals: brunch and dinner
All day filter water, hot lemon ginger and India masala chai
Extra activities such as meditation, chanting and other cultural evening activities happening in the retreat center every evening.

Non inclusive:

International or domestic Flights
Transfers from/to airport from Goa airport (around £15 each way for one person)
Any extra activities.

A €400 deposit is required in order to ensure your place. 

To join the retreat at least 1 year of practice is required.
