Your stay will include:
- 2 large, healthy buffet meals (brunch and dinner) per day in the Ashiyana Restaurant
- All scheduled drop-in Yoga classes (morning and afternoon)
- All Ashiyana’s creative activities (e.g. chanting, meditations; yoga nidra; music concerts; pujas; karma yoga; etc.) and workshops (e.g. AcroYoga; Inversions; Yoga for Digestion; Creative Writing; Expressive Painting; Nutrition; Conscious Breathwork; Essential Oils, etc.)
- Other facilities (filtered water, masala chai, hot lemon-ginger tea, etc.)
Beginners are always welcome at Ashiyana – since our focus is not so much on the style of yoga, but rather the sensitivity and awareness with which our teachers teach, your ‘level’ of yoga ability is unimportant.
We encourage you to rest and hang out in the peace and quiet of Ashiyana in one of the many hammocks or ‘chill-out’ spaces hidden away amidst the abundant plants and coconut palms. Or take the two-minute walk to the vast, sandy Mandrem beach to bask in the Goan sunshine and swim in the ocean.
If you are interested in exploring North Goa, in addition to the numerous beaches there are many beautiful sites and places to enjoy such as the Dudsagar Waterfall; spice plantations; National Parks; Bondla Zoo; the beautiful old parts of Panjim (Goa’s capital) and Old Goa; an abundance of Portuguese churches and architecture; and the famous Wednesday Anjuna Flea Market and Saturday Night Markets.
Apart from our own activities, there are a variety of other activities and courses within the local area such as live music, dance, Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) Boarding and kite surfing.
